New Delhi is a metropolitan city of over 20 million people and the capital of India. It combines historic districts such as Old Delhi—with its Mughal-era monuments, markets, and narrow streets—with the planned government quarter of New Delhi, designed during the British period. The city is home to major national museums, archives, and cultural institutions, including the National Museum, the National Archives of India, and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts. General visitor information is available from the Delhi Tourism website.
Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is the main international gateway to the city. It offers extensive connections across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. The airport is well linked to the city by taxi, app-based ride services, and the Delhi Airport Metro Express, which connects Terminal 3 to central New Delhi in about 20 minutes.
Training workshops will take place at the Indian Institute of Heritage (IIH), located in Janpath, New Delhi. The campus is easily accessible by metro, taxi, and auto-rickshaw from most parts of the city.

Indian Institute of Heritage (IIH), New DelhiVisa requirements
Most international participants will require an Indian visa to enter the country. India offers several categories of short-term visas, including the e‑Tourist Visa, which is suitable for short courses, workshops, and professional visits that do not lead to a degree or formal academic credit.
Participants should consult the official Indian visa portal or their nearest Indian embassy or consulate to confirm requirements based on nationality. Processing times vary, so early application is recommended.
This workshop is a short, non‑degree professional training activity. A Tourist Visa or e‑Tourist Visa is normally sufficient, but participants should verify requirements with the official Indian visa portal or their nearest Indian embassy or consulate.
